108-42-9: 3 Chloroaniline
It is a halogenated aromatic amine. They are beneficial in the synthesis of pyrimidoazepine analogs such as serotonin 5-HT2A and 5-HT2C receptor ligands. They are evaluated for the treatment of obesity. They have applications as an intermediate in the production of herbicides. It is a widely used antimicrobial and bacteriocide chlorhexidine and is also used in the industrial production of pesticides, drugs, and dyestuffs.
