Abiraterone N-Oxide Impurity is an impurity of Abiraterone acetate, a prodrug used in the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer. It acts by converting itself in vivo to abiraterone which inhibits androgen biosynthesis. It induces cancerous tissue as well as the natural production of androgens.References
