Aminocaproic Acid N-Benzyloxycarbonyl also known as Z-6-Aminohexanoic acid or N-Benzyloxycarbonyl-6-aminocaproic acid or Z-epsilon-Acp-OH with IUPAC name 6-(phenylmethoxycarbonylamino)hexanoic acid is an impurity of Aminocaproic Acid which is an antifibrinolytic agent utilized to induce clotting postoperatively. An antifibrinolytic agent works by inhibiting plasminogen activators that have fibrinolytic properties.
