Bepotastine piperidine N-Oxide or (S)-1-(3-carboxypropyl)-4-((4-chlorophenyl)(pyridin-2-yl)methoxy)piperidine-1-oxide, is a non-sedating, selective antagonist of the histamine 1 (H1), it is benzylethers derivatives. it is an H1-antihistamine class and is a used treatment for itching with allergic conjunctivitis. it is an inhibitor of histamine release from mast cells.
