Deferasirox Benzoxazin Impurity (CAS No.: 1218-69-5) or 2-(2-Hydroxyphenyl)-4H-1,3-benzoxazin-4-one is a synthesis intermediate of Deferasirox which is an oral drug iron chelator evaluated for the treatment of transfusional chronic iron overload. The common side effects related to deferasirox treatment are nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhoea and skin rash.
