Droxidopa Impurity M or (CAS No.90044-46-5) or 5,6,11,12-tetrahydro-5,11-epiminodibenzo[a,e][8]annulene-2,3,8,9-tetraol. Droxidopa has structure similar to noradrenaline but with carboxyl group. It has both neuronal and extra neuronal effects. It is useful in patients with dopamine beta hydroxylase deficiency.
