Also known as Ethyl Phenyl Ether or Phenoxyethane or Dapagliflozin Impurity 18, it is a well-known electron-pair donor aliphatic-aromatic ether. Ethoxybenzene is used in the preparation of a lot of pharmaceutical substances. It is one of the building blocks of 4-n-ethoxy-4’-cyanobiphenyl liquid crystal.
