Also known as Isoxepac, is an impurity present in Olopatadine which is currently being developed as a new anti-inflammatory agent and is a relatively new selective H1 antagonist that has mast cell stabilizing properties and has been shown to affect the release of TNFa and various cytokines from conjunctival epithelial cells.
