Oseltamivir 5-Desamino 5-(2-Formyl 5-Hydroxymethylpyrrol-1-yl)
It is one of impurity present in oseltamivir, Oseltamivir is a pro-drug of the active metabolite oseltamivir carboxylate. which is a potent selective inhibitor of influenza virus neuraminidase enzymes, viral neuraminidase enzyme activity is important for viral entry into uninfected cells for the release of recently formed virus particles from infected cells and after that spread of the infectious virus in the body. also reduces viral shedding and infectivity. which is effective against viral neuraminidases of influenza A and influenza B.
