It is one of impurity present in Sugammadex, Sugammadex is a selective relaxant binding agent indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide during surgery. Sugammadex is a modified gamma cyclodextrin, rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide are neuromuscular blocking medications that cause temporary paralysis and are useful for general anesthesia. Sugammadex is a new treatment for reversing the effects of those medications and possibly helping patients recover sooner post-surgery.
