1564242-51-8: Beclomethasone Bromo Impurity

It is one of impurity present in Beclomethasone, Beclomethasone is a second-generation synthetic corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory and vasoconstrictive effects, which is used to treat chronic inflammatory processes such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses. When inhaled it improves lung function decreases airway hyperreactivity and reduces the severity of asthmatic symptoms. Also inhaled corticosteroids including beclomethasone dipropionate are reported to act locally in the lungs with systemic effects such as disruption of hypothalamic pituitary adrenal(HAP) axis function, bone turnover, osteoporosis, and growth suppression. It was shown to suppress the hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis in a dose-dependent manner.
