Deferasirox Salicyloyl Ester Cas No. 1395346-28-7 with IUPAC Name 4-(3-(2-((2-hydroxybenzoyl)oxy)phenyl)-5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-1-yl)benzoic acid is an impurity of Deferasirox which is mainly used to reduce chronic iron overload in patients receiving long-term blood transfusions for conditions such as beta-thalassemia and other chronic anemias. The first oral medication approved in the United States for this purpose is Deferasirox.
