Levetiracetam Working Standard [:(aS)-a-Ethyl-2-oxo-1-pyrrolidineacetamide] is a second-generation antiepileptic drug that is generally prescribed as an adjunct therapy in adult patients with partial-onset seizures. It acts by binding to synaptic vesical protein 2A rather than binding to GABA or benzodiazepine receptors.
