FAQ’s

What is the therapeutic use of allicin?

Mammalian, plant, and microbial cells all exhibit physiological activity from allicin. Allicin can kill bacteria and fungi, including antibiotic-resistant strains like methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, (MRSA).or restrict their growth in a dose-dependent manner .

How does allicin affect the lungs?

The growth inhibitory effect of allicin vapour and allicin in solution to clinical isolates of lung pathogenic bacteria from the genera Pseudomonas, Streptococcus, and Staphylococcus, including multi-drug resistant (MDR) strains, was demonstrated. Allicin was synthesised (>98% pure) by oxidation of diallyl disulfide by H2O2 using formic acid as a catalyst.

Is allicin beneficial for diabetics?

Allicin improved insulin sensitivity, reduced hyperglycemia, and stopped diabetes-related alterations to the expression of (GLUT4) and IRSs. As a result, our results indicate that allicin is really beneficial in the treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
