Also known as Adrenalone hydrochloride, it is a synthetic precursor of epinephrine that is used in the synthesis of O, O-Di(ethylsuccinyl) adrenalone that is a potential short-acting mydriatic agent and is significantly used as a diagnostic or surgical agent.
