Dorzolamide Impurity 2 or 2-Desaminosulfonyl 3-Aminosulfonyl Dorzolamide (CAS No.199734-71-9) or (4S,6S)-4-(methylamino)-6-methyl-5,6-dihydro-4H-thieno[2,3-b]thiopyran-3-sulfonamide 7,7-dioxide. Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of open-angle glaucoma. It has two metabolites namely N- Acetyl dorzolamide and N-diethyl-dorzolamide.
