Also known as Ondansetron EP Impurity E, Clotrimazole EP Impurity D, Bifonazole EP Impurity C, Flutrimazole EP Impurity A, Imidazole, 1H-Imidazole or 1,3-Diaza-2,4-cyclopentadiene. Enalapril is a prodrug that is hydrolyzed after absorption to form the active angiotensin-converting enzyme Enalaprilat. It is administered orally. It decreases blood pressure by lowering peripheral resistance without increasing heart rate. It is well tolerated and safe.
