N-Nitroso-4-piperidone (CAS No: 55556-91-7) is a potent carcinogen causing tumours of the oesophagus, pharynx and nasal cavity in the rat when administered intravenously and subcutaneously and of the liver and oesophagus when fed in the drinking water.
