Mit der Summenformel C16H23N3O2S und einer Molmasse von 321,44 g/mol fehlt die N-Methylgruppe am Seitenkettenamin, ein Merkmal, das als Synthesevorstufe, Prozessverunreinigung oder metabolisches N-Dealkylierungsprodukt auftreten kann. Aufgrund seines polaren, basischen Charakters erfordert die Spurencharakterisierung gewöhnlich LC-MS/MS, LC-DAD oder hochauflösende LC-MS.
