Duloxetin-EP-Impurität A, auch als Duloxetin Related Compound A beziehungsweise Duloxetin R-Isomer bezeichnet, ist das stereochemische Gegenstück von Duloxetin mit der CAS-Nummer 116539-60-7. Mit der Summenformel C18H19NOS und einer Molekülmasse von 297,41 g/mol handelt es sich um eine chirale Arylpropylamin-Thioether-Verunreinigung, die durch asymmetrische Inversion, Racemisierung während der Synthese oder unvollständige stereochemische Auftrennung des Wirkstoffs entstehen kann.
