A D-alanina (CAS 338-69-2) é o enantiômero D da alanina, um aminoácido proteinogênico quiral e uma impureza estereoquímica relevante para a avaliação da pureza enantiomérica. Com fórmula molecular C3H7NO2 e massa molar de 89,09 g/mol, surge com frequência por racemização durante a síntese, o armazenamento ou exposição térmica severa de materiais baseados em L-alanina. Sua presença altera a rotação óptica e pode indicar instabilidade configuracional em substâncias derivadas de aminoácidos. A quantificação normalmente exige LC quiral, frequentemente acoplada à detecção por MS, podendo ser complementada por eletroforese capilar ou derivatização seguida de LC-MS/MS para resolução em nível traço.
