It is an impurity present in Tofacitinib. Tofacitinib is a small-molecule Janus-associated kinase inhibitor, which is used for the treatment of adult patients with moderate to severe rheumatoid arthritis. Also it has had an inadequate response or intolerance to methotrexate therapy.
