Diclofenac EP Impurity C (CAS No.: 27204-57-5) or Diclofenac Alcohol is a biomodification product of Diclofenac which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) having a carboxylic acid functional group. Therapeutic use of diclofenac is correlated with seldom but sometimes fatal hepatotoxicity accompanied by the hindered onset of symptoms and the absence of a clear dose-response relationship.
