Enalapril EP Impurity H (CAS No.2055735-10-7) or ((S)-4-cyclohexyl-1-ethoxy-1-oxobutan-2-yl)-L-alanyl-L-proline hydrochloride. Enalapril is a prodrug that is hydrolyzed after absorption to form the active angiotensin-converting enzyme Enalaprilat. It is administered orally. It decreases blood pressure by lowering peripheral resistance without increasing heart rate. It is well tolerated and safe.
