Description
Clarithromycin EP Impurity M (CAS No: 127182-43-8) or Clarithromycin Impurity M is adulteration in Roxithromycin. Roxithromycin is a semi-synthetic 14-membered macrolide antibiotic in which the 9-keto group of the erythromycin A is substituted by an ether-oxime chain. . The drug has activity against few Staphylococcus spp., many Streptococcus spp., Moraxella catarrhalis, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, Legionella pneumophila, and Chlamydia trachomatis.
