Abacavir EP Impurity A (CAS No: 136470-79-6) is a degradation product of Abacavir that is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor that acts by inhibiting HIV reverse transcriptase by competing with the endogenous substrate dGTP and thus, is utilized in the treatment of HIV infection.
