Description

Also known as Abacavir Related Compound 8 or trans-Abacavir Dihydrochloride, it is formed by the degradation of Abacavir. Abacavir is an antiretroviral drug that acts by decreasing viral load and increasing CD4+ cell count in HIV-infected patients.
